Allow me to introduce you to Northorpe Barn, associated with Northorpe Hall Child and Family Trust. Not only is this barn a beautiful intimate space which allows for a relaxed ceremony and reception but also enables the couple to really put their stamp on their wedding day. From decor and venue dressing, the staff really allow and appreciate that each couple wants to make their wedding unique to them.
Northorpe Barn is set within the grounds of the hall, and is exclusive to the wedding and the guests on the day. One thing i think is important to point out is that any wedding or event held at the barn benefits the charity directly. What a wonderful thing to know that your wedding not only brings you happy memories but also can help and benefit the charity and all the wonderful work it does with children and their families.
The bridal prep began in a local hotel with Kelly being joined by her closest friends and family and her adorable daughter; from there we went across to Northorpe Barn for the wedding and evening reception. It was stunning, so intimate, so relaxed, and with the wedding being held on the 23rd December, a classy nod to the festive period that awaits the guests.
I would like to thank the staff at Northorpe who were so professional and really were a pleasure to work alongside, as well as Michael Mulholland who is an amazing Acoustic musician and DJ and kept the dance floor alive, before during and after first dance!
If you want both live music and a DJ set up (or either singularly) go check out Michael, I was so impressed and a little bit jealous I couldn't just dance the entire night away with all the guests!
