Laurie + Rob's Wild Flower inspired Hilltop Country House Wedding with London Underground Details.
Easter Weekend either a hit or miss when it comes to weather but luckily for Rob + Laurie it was a definite hit and the gorgeous Hilltop Country House! With a nice mixture of overcast and sunny spells the only element to remind you it was still spring was the chill in the air and those moments of gusts.
From our initial emails to our meeting I knew that Rob and Laurie were not fans of posed, cheesy or set-up shots, they truly wanted to be captured as candidly as possible, and hopefully that was achieved.
There were moments of slight direction but it was great to have a laugh and a giggle with a couple that truly embraced those moments. When i asked them to just face one another, Laurie then took that to be a nice moment to fake speed date and fire questions at her new husband; those moments and facial expressions are definitely photographs to keep.
You’ll find a lot facial expression throughout this gallery and i loved that about them both!
There were moments throughout this day which made me emotional at times, Laurie’s Nanna was too unwell to attend the day, but that didn’t stop Laurie, Rob and family from driving after the ceremony to visit the beautiful lady and bring an element of glamour to the care home. It was such a beautiful moment and Nanna definitely had a laugh and giggle during it; thankfully I was able to hide my face behind my camera otherwise tears would’ve been flowing.
Laurie and Rob told me that all they wanted was a nice relaxed day with an amazing evening to party and celebrate and I really think the day was perfect for them and truly loved being a part of it.
Huge shout out once again to the amazing suppliers I worked alongside.
