A Little Bit About Me

Hi! I'm Claire a Cheshire based wedding and portrait  photographer. My love for photography stems from my fathers passion for it, growing up my sister and I were fortunate to have a dad who loved capturing those candid moments and memories to look back on fondly. We have so many photographs capturing Christmas', holidays and just general day to day family life, this has helped me understand the importance of photography.

I continued my passion and studied photography at university, receiving a Bachelor of Arts with honours degree. After graduating I began work as a freelance photographer, working for a variety of diverse clients from musical artists to models and magazine. However my true love is capturing those candid, natural, special moments; from wedding days to newborn shoots, everyday family life and portraits.

“EXIST IN PHOTOS, LONG AFTER THE DANCEFLOOR IS EMPTIED, AFTER THE FLOWERS HAVE DRIED. LONG AFTER THE CAKE HAS BEEN EATEN AND THE DRINKS HAVE BEEN DRUNK, YOUR PHOTOS REMIND YOU OF THE MEMORIES FROM THE DAY. TO LOOK BACK WITH FONDNESS AND REMINISCE IN OLD AGE. FOR CHILDREN TO KEEP FONDLY AND ANCESTORS TO THEN STORE TO SHOW HOW YOU CELEBRATED, WHAT YOU WORE AND THE DECOR.”

HOW I WORK

My approach to your day isn't to simply capture as it passes like a fly on the wall; I want to get to know you and your guests. Be a part of your day in doing so I believe I will capture your friends and family as they are and not how they want to necessarily be photographed. The fun and laughter, the banter and the mischief, whatever your friends and family are up to; however they are enjoying your day I want them to be relaxed and  involve me in those moments so you have them to look back on.
